NEVER say you cant, unless you have really tried to do it. and you cant. MY DAD would say that to me. He thought (cant) was a nasty word. And i think he was right.

On my day of marriage (I did not have a wedding)
The grandmother of my to be husband said to me
"Marriage is the most difficult thing to achieve at. nothing you ever will do is more strenuous"
This came from a woman who survived a world war, gave birth and raised 5 kids, and married over 50 years, and lived on a shoestring budget from a steelworker (who fought in the 2nd WW)

It's contradictory in that it was something I'd already known, maybe I needed to hear it again at the time. ( Lot of stress. )
