I have seen something like that about Christ and it made me very upset because it was very rude and disrespectful. There should be a limit to free press if there isn't because some stuff is just wrong.

The question is not how it would feel, but rather how does one react.
Jesus is often depicted in an unkind light in many forms. Christians, I'm sure, feel offended. However, the usual response is a phone call or letter in protest to the whomever published or created such a thing. At worst, a call for a boycott against that newspaper may be called.
Unlike the response of muslims worldwide. Mohammed was depicted as a terrorist in those cartoons. Muslims protested by killing each other, burning and destroying their own business and threatening the lives of the 'artist' and editors of the newspapers. Such behavior only goes to validate the opinion expressed in the 'offending' cartoons.
Therein lies the difference.

It saddens me and I get angry.But.. Christ and cartoons of an old white man with a beard,Which depicts God, are a part of the mainstream medias' life..They are constantly depicting God and Jesus in one way or another, never though in a kind or Christian way. The New York Times would not show the cartoons of Mohammad , but in the same paper they condemned the cartoons, the ran a picture of a crucifix inside of a jar filled with urine and a painting of The Virgin Mary covered in feces. I didn't hear any complaints about that from any media sources except Bill O'Reilly , who condemnned both the cartoons and the so called art. Its unconscionable what the media will do to condem what others hold sacred.

These are really good answers. Everyone is so tired of being "Politically Correct" these days, which is a good thing. If you dont like what someone is saying about this group or that group then dont listen which means ignore that person. But for gods sake dont whine like a big fat baby when someone offends you. Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion EVEN IF THEY ARE WRONG! Or even if your opinion is different and you seem wrong to them you are still entitled to your opinion. If you have an opportunity to change someone elses opinion, do it in a good CIVILLIZED way and dont gloat. Violence is wrong unless your life is in immediate danger, therfore the overreaction of the Muslim people was wrong. Muslims in the middle east are 3rd world people trying to cope with 21st century people who are used to dealing with others opinions about thier lifestyles and religions. Muslims therefore need to "get over themselves" and realize that they are not the only people who live on the earth. And for gods sake stop trying to "take over the world". It might make sense to be Muslim in a 3rd world culture, but when you are dealing with people who are used to living in a "free" society, you cannot use violence to get what you want. We can see right through the B.S.. And that my friends is MY humble opinion.

It always bothers me when something that is sacred and holy to someone is made fun of in some way. It shows extreme arrogance on the part of any person who does so, and ignorance as well. If more people bothered to read a holy book and understand the wisdom within, they would be ashamed to be so callous. I have a great sense of humor, by the way, but some things are off limits.

Where have you been, Jesus Christ has already been
in a bad comic drawing, abstract art and in newspapers
and you don't see Christians going around killing people because of it. Christians are more civillized than muslims.

You mean like "Buddy Christ" from Dogma, "Jesus Christ: Vampire Slayer", ect?
Here's what they did to Mohammed: http://www.zombietime.com/mohammed_image_archive/ It doesn't have anything to do with a free press. It may have more to do with taste and couth.
I'm not a christian, either. I don't need religion rammed down my throat, or forced upon me.

I really pay no attention to people defaming my God. He did not instruct me to fight back or to crusade to make the world a more holy place. He said He will do that when He returns. I am instructed to simply learn and apply His word and love others as He does. According to Christ I am to ignore the cartoonist and concentrate on the word of God.
Muhammad on the other hand instructed for Muslims to convert the world, change it to suit his views and either kill or dhimmify(enslave) those who oppose Islam, which means: submission to Allah. According to Muhammed you should track down the cartoonist and kill him.

big deal. we might think it's stupid.. but I assure you we wouldn't call for a town center beheading or anything. Honestly? Not a problem. In fact it's done all the time. There are no decrees against it.
IT'S A COMIC, FOR THE L0VE OF......well, you know. Just move on and put your energies elsewhere.

We'd protest in the street, riot, burn mosques, kill muslims and atheists and... wait, nope we wouldn't actually do anything. Christians don't act like spoiled children, crying and throwing tantrums just because some wanker ridiculed our God or our religion. I've always seen it as a sign of weakness to respond violently to those who would deride your faith. QED.
Because our God and our faith are strong enough to withstand such juvenile derision. And such people who seek to bash us cannot touch us with their pathetic words. So we ignore them.
And trust me, both our God and our religion and our faith are attacked nearly daily. Just read some of the stuff in Yahoo! Answers...
