"Boogeyman" refers to an imaginary fear. The terrorists are not 'imaginary', they are very real, and their threats are very real. WTC, London, Spain, India, Jordan, Bali, Israel, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Algeria, etc have all been attacked in recent years. To ignore this very real threat is to embrace suicide.
For imaginary fears, Bush is it. All these 'scary' fictional stories about: (a) him being behind 9/11, (b) taking away rights, (c) being a fascist, (d) war for oil, etc are nothing but ghost stories meant to frighten little children. I am saddened that so many people actually believe them.
To me, fear of Bush is worse because it is not supported by reality.

Bush is causing more actual measurable damage to the US every day than terrorists have. Ignore the propaganda and scare tactics, and just count how many constitutional violations and how many violations of federal law he's committed. And you can limit the count to just what he's publicly admitted, and what federal courts have confirmed. Still numbering in the thousands.
Plus, the body count of US citizens resulting from Bush's actions are about the same as the terrorists. Also numbering in the thousands.
The difference is, we can do something to stop Bush, a lot easier than we can eliminate terrorism.

What scares ME is ignoramuses like "shut up dummy".
He just said:
the lefties right here in America that support terrorist are the scariest
SUPPORT the terrorists? Uh-huh.
How is seeing through ALL of Bush's political failures "supporting"
the terrorists.
If anything, changing Bush's course is an attempt to DEFEAT the terrorists.
Duh.

I agree with Fred. The Liberals, like you, who make these idiotic comparisons, are the scariest. Get over your political obsessions and try looking at the facts for a change.
