Not an ideal place for surfing. Try California and Florida.

not really, cold water, small waves. But I have seen people boogie boarding and surfing kind of at tybee island which is near by. Savannah is actually up the savannah river from the ocean, so not in savannah

I've been to Savannah, but I don't think it would be an ideal place to surf. Great city though if you appreciate history and fine architecture.
