Sweetie you probably are. 3 years dosn't sound like much of a difference but the 2 of you are at different maturity levels and enjoy different things for those maturity levels as well. You also want to keep in mind that you will be an adult soon and she has another 4 years to go. I know I have been there. And I thought age didn't matter. It does I promise you that. I think it is fine. When I started dating, the boy had just turned 16 and I was 13.
We have been together now for 16 years. And now that I am 30 and my husband is going to be 33, the difference is nothing.
If her parents are ok with it, then I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure the 2 of you hold off having sex. It could cause a world of problems come your next birthday.

Secondly, if you have sex with her. In many states, the legal age of consent is 16. If her parents don't like you, they could have you charged.
Be careful.. Just think about it. In a year, you may be going off to college. Do you want to date a girl that is barely into high school?
You may find someone more suited that is your age.

Normally a girl's maturity level is higher than that of boy's her age, so the two of you are probably at the same maturity level. As long as her parents don't have a problem, then I think you're good to go.

Age is just a number.....do you guys have fun together.....have stuff in common then your fine.......no it is only 3 years apart.....that isn't that bad compared to like 10 years or something but like i said before age is just a number......so just have fun and enjoy your time with her.....good luck.........:)

if your parents approve of her, then its cool. but look out when you turn 18, that may cause some trouble... especialy if her parents have a problem with you. you should see how they like you as well.

I think it depends on how good your relationship is. Or how mature the girl is if she is younger. like my mom was very young when she started dating my dad, but my mom was really mature.
