I have an 8 year old and a 2 month old. I can't remember when my son started teething since it was so long ago. My daughter now will be 3 months on Sept. 10th, she is drooling a lot and has also started to suck her hand. She seems a bit more cranky now - Does that mean she can be teething?

My oldest son got his first teeth at 4.5 months, and my new baby started teething at 11 weeks and had his 2 bottom teeth on his 3mo. birthday. I know that is on the early side, but I have found it is more important to sook at your baby and not necessarily follow the books religiously.

Like everything else in the world it is different every time. Some babies are born with teeth. My son started at 2 months and my daughter at 8 months. I would say that drooling a lot and sucking on her hand can be signs of impending teeth eruptions.

They start the drooling around 2 months old, but the teeth dont usually pop up until 6-8 months old.

babies actually have teeth when they are born it's just they are beneath the gums. Every baby is different but drooling and the desire to bite on everything is definitely a sign of teething

My son started teething at 6-7 months...He was chewing his hands all the time. They only way I really knew he was teething because he was so good was the fact that he got a really bad bum rash, and diahrea
