Hell no BEEOTCH!!!
A marriage counselor predicted the divorce rate would be 80% by 2018. I agree with her.

Some do, some don't. Marriage is hard work and most people aren't interested in putting up with someone else's crap. People change and turn into monsters after they get "papers" on their spouses. Jealous wives, cheating husbands, meddling inlaws, all kinds of things can throw a monkey wrench in the mix.
I say down with marriage. Stay single...that's how you came onto the world, that's how you should leave. You don't need anyone else to complete you...you're a whole person by yourself.
Stay single...Stay happy ;)

Interesting question....many do not anymore. Marriage, along with many other values, aren't taken seriously by the majority of people in our society anymore. Maybe it is the commercialization of sex that the media keeps bombarding us with, or maybe it is all of these celebrity so-called "role models" that marry and divorce like they are changing shoes. Whatever the cause, the sanctity of marriage is almost non-existent anymore. Just look around you...how many people do you know that have not been divorced? In my own life, I only know of one such happy couple...my grand parents. Although I believe that there are people that respect the commitment of marriage, and do love each other unconditionally, those people are few and far between. I guess all we can do is hold tight to our own values (or lack there of in some cases :) ), and keep searching for that person who is right for us.

that is the way how should be and especially when we talk
about kids.... and then they divorce
99% of the people I know they lie about the own marriage
for this people is very important to make you believe they have find the perfect wife and the perfect husband like I said just an illusion..
morale today like yesterday marriage is something magic and like every magic you need to believe in the illusion and live with that...
*sarcasm definition*
art of marriage happiness is persuade yourself

I think so. My husband and I have been married for almost two years. What they say about the 1st year being the hardest is 100% accurate. We had it ROUGH. But, we both committed to work through it and are doing great now. Our parents have each been married 30 + years and have seen their harships as well. There are people willing to stick it out and work on it!!!

Doesn't seem like it. Look into yourself and you can set the bar for your spouse. They will only take it as seriously as you do.
