Sugar is the one that is not a mineral, it is an organic compound. Minerals are naturally occuring inorganic substances.

I remember this question in geology class. The answer is certainly c however we were taught that ice is sometimes a mineral such as when it forms in certain caves. I wouldn't have thought a snow flake would have fit the definition. Anyway wikipedia has the following definition of a mineral :
Minerals are natural compounds formed through geological processes. I wouldn't think crystallization in the atmosphere would fit but I could be wrong and they might have decided to include snow as a mineral

a or c, and I think it's a, the snow flake. Sugar is an organic product, but that doesn't mean it can't be a mineral, snow is just frozen water, and I dunno if you can classify ice as a mineral but I'm almost positive you can't.
