I was told by friends and family not to marry my first wife. I couldn't see or understand why they felt that way and I ignored them. Eighteen months later, I could see the shortcomings she had and I knew my marriage was doomed. We lasted another six months before it was all over. I learned a good lesson from that and now I seek out their opinions.

Any youth has been told a thousand times, " don't get married ", but they don't listen.
We pass the advice on to the young blokes, and they don't listen either.
It must have been going on for centuries.
