Even though she should always feel good about herself, it is only human that sometimes people don't. If that will make her happy, then don't discourage her, ask her to at least learn a lot about it before she put her health at risk. Ask her if she ever thought of how you would feel if she put it in and everything goes wrong and if she herself can live with that. If she wants it more than anything, then let her. One of the things that destroys relationships is when one of the individuals involved is not happy. I am sure you guys will work it out.
