No way. The moment I stopped studying because I graduated, my life fell apart. I got a job in an international business but it was nothing like my student period. Now it was all about responsibility and paying bills. You need to show up at work punctually and work the eight hours straight with no room for improvisation whatsoever. When you are still young you think you can go to school all of your life and the future is far away. Until you grow up. One morning you wake up and you smell the coffee and then it is too late to turn around completely and go the opposite direction. A pity nobody warned me upfront.

Are you kidding?!? If someone had told me at age 17 living in Orange County that I would end up working as a TV salesman in Anchorage, and then go to work for the International Monetary Fund here in our nation's capital, I would've said they were out of their effin' mind!

Although I *was* right about the girl I sat next to in Chemistry class, and how she eventually became my wife....

Yeah....it FINALLY is. I imagined that I'd be married to a great guy...who is my best friend, having kids, owning my own home, and making good money. Also, I wanted to travel alot.

I have ALL of this....but it took going through a bad marriage, having no money to pay piles of bills, and a really bad relationship. This do get better over time.

I was too busy being a child to even consider how my day was going to end, much less thinking about what my life was going to be as an adult.
