Untreated chlamydia (or chlamydia that "goes away on its own") can cause scar tissue to form on the fallopian tubes. As a result of this, the sperm can't get up there to reach the egg and fertilize it. Her best bet would be to see her ob/gyn and tell him this (assuming he doesn't already know) and find out what her options are.

I never heard of someone having a STD that just "went away"
She needs to get checked.
Yes you can still get pregnant after Chlamydia, some people have complications but what ever.
Your friend is stupid for not getting it checked. She probably slept around and gave it to a million more people.

First of all, STD's dont just go away... Second she needs to go see her GYN and have a pap-smear test done. NOrmally, STD's when they go on treated they cause tearring in the tissues and could cause u to have abnormal cells. Thats soemthing serious that should have been treated at the exact moment that she had it.

Yes she can still have children unless it damaged any of her female reproductive organs.
But her baby having claymedia from her is a chance. Not all can happens this way, but some do.

Do you know if she's trying? If it has been a considerable amount of time and no success she needs to see doctor. How does she know she had chlymidia (spelling?) if she was never treated for it? Is she just assuming? You left a lot of unanswered questions.
