My niece said she would like to meet the person who invented crayons. He/she did so much for creativity and they have been used in the most wealthy homes and the poorest. It is prpbably the overall best toy ever invented. Especailly since it has spun off so many side-products like colored pencils, markers, glitter pens, glo in the dark,kits,iron-on crayons, and many more. We would have a dull refrigerator without our kids colored pics! Also what would the inventor of coloring books have done?

It would do a few things:

1. Inspire less creativity. Many artists have fond memories of crayons.

2. Increase the use of chalk and color pencils

3. Give us kids at heart less to do on a rainy day :(

It would be the same as without ice cream. Ice cream makes ones senses come alive and with the smell and color of the cool icy flavors, and Crayons, oh my they bring to life every color of the rainbow and all in a box-- for everyone to create upon a plain piece of paper. One can not imagine a world without crayons, and what one can do with them. We can smell them, see the colors and create worlds from our imagination that takes us away and through life with the most exciting adventures ever.

Life would be colorless, dull and uncreative. All imagination run a muck without a place for us to retreat to in our minds and souls.

And besides, what would my refrig. be like without the colored love notes from my kids!!!!!

Probably colorless. Or at least, colors would be used in a boring way. Crayon-users do have a tendency to come up with interesting color combos.

Quite boring. I have the 96 pack and a stack of coloring books. My wife and I color on rainy days. Yes, my wife and I . I am 41.

It wouldn't be life, it would just be a living memory of the glorious days of crayola.

There wouldn't be anything for third-graders to melt on classroom radiators in the wintertime.
