I heard that I can save money by putting a rubber band around his nuts really tight. Then they will fall off naturally. He keeps bighting at the rubberband but it's on there real tight.

hey a**hole he is a dog not a goat,
that is a procedure used on gaots but with special bands that have to be put on with a banding tool.
you can not strech a regulare rubber band tight enough to do the job and so all you are doing is causing this poor dog lots of pain and will end up killing him or paying a lot higher vet bill to save him.
you sound like the type you would let him die anyway.
IF YOU CAN"T AFFORD THE COST OF A PET DO NOT HAVE A PET!!!!!!!!

I can't believe this.
It's inhumane, AND illegal.
use your freaking head, dude. YOUR balls would fall off naturally under the same conditions, after weeks of pain and suffering while the tissue gradually died and turned into a big lump of scar tissue. That is, if you didn't die from a gangrene infection.
If you were getting yourself fixed, I doubt you would want that. You'd go to a doctor, have them anesthetize you, and snip the tube.
Why would you force your "Best Friend" to go through this agony? Are you impaired in some way?
Seconds count at this point. You need to get that thing off your dog and take him to the vet. If it's the money you're worried about, ask them to help in some way - payments, etc.

That is not how they neuter dogs. I hope your neighbors report you. The fines for this type of cruelty will be enough to neuter several dogs.
I will tell you what will happen.
His balls will swell very large, They will get infected and eventually you will have to take him to the vet. They then will have to neuter him anyway and put him on antibiotics for the severe infection.
How about you put a rubber band around your balls?

haha they do that on baby cows...like 3 days old! but no don't do it on your dog...the nerve endings develop after 3 days old and they can feel like it you wouldn't believe! get him neutered the right way!
