Replace the seat with one that has a thicker padding. If a shock absorber is feasible, have that installed under the seat as well. Yes, it HURTS especially when you ride through rough roads and humps that make your bike land in thumps.

Im guessing you mean your butt HURTS. If you are talking about a bicycle then try a gel seat cover. They sell them everwhere they sell bikes usually. Spral Mart should even have them. I had to get one of these too they help a bit.
If you are talking about a motorcycle then buy a new seat at a bike shop or online ...search the type of motorcycle you have and look for seats.

You can buy a more comfortable seat or buy specialized bike shorts that have gel inserts on the rump. I had this same problem myself - I went with the shorts.

you can buy special saddles or gel packs to soften the seat for your booty!! try evans, halfords etc.
