Benedryll for the hives. With a nice oatmeal bath Aveno makes a good one.
As far as your furniture goes you can get that fabric cleaner I personally dont know how well it works.
Id vaccum it really really good first and see if that works. If not try a damp towel and run it over the fabric.
Let it dry then vaccum it again. I know on most cloth sofas you can unzip the ulpholstry off ( the cushions) and wash them on delicate....use air fluff to dry . I do mine all the time because I have dogs. Its never harmed my fabric. If you are unsure about the washing machine try hand washing and line drying.

I take benadryl. It usually gives me tremendous relief. Take a cool bath in soda water (no soap). Stress can cause hives that is what usually does mine. When I break out, I know I need to relax and let go of problems.

Go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for a medication that
has the hgihest % of diphenhydramine. which is an antihistamine. If the syptoms are really bad get to the e.r.
Wash the house furnature with warm water with detergent in it. Change the water & detergent often. Wipe with clean towels. Get rid of the spray.
Your husband should go to an allergist for tests to see what he is allergect to.

Are you sure it was from the spray. I used to get hives and it was because I was stressed out a lot.

I just had an ugly rash from some new perfume. I used cortizone cream. It helped the itch and cleared up the hives.

benadryl, still after so many years probably the best medicine for an allergic reaction out there

if benadryl doesn't help, or it gets worse, or he starts to have trouble breathing, go to an ER
