I think a skirt would be cuter so go with the skirt but if its a little cold i would go with the jean capris

Appropriate.. Well Jeans.
However if you are really into fashion make sure you mix it up with something nice so you get fine compliments.
A skirt would look amazing.. it always does!
Capri's are very comfortible so if you are laid back id def go with those!
Payless has new trendy shoes so those mix with practicly anything.
Daisymaze has a sale on nice tops!!

I'd go with a nice jean skirt with a cute white polo top or pink. Always go with a skirt.

depends on the school...I'd go with jeans until you can look at the rules to see the "proper" length of skirt (Personally I think this is one of the weirdest rules the school boards came up with)...it be kinda stupid to go to school on the first day of school with a skirt that's to short.
