Move closer to each other. Just get it done, don't let little problems get in your way.

What are you to do, more than try as much as possible to counteract the distance. Call all the time, write, visit when you can. If both of you work at it, then it can weather the distance.
I've had a long distance relationship. It was hard, it was expensive, but it had it's really big "this is worth it" moments. It lasted two years, my ex got tired of the distance, and found a girl that was closer to home.
That's the worst that can happen I think. When you love someone, and you invest so much of yourself, to be willing to give so much just to make it work...and then the other person doesn't feel the same way. But I say, don't be a fraid to give it a try. You can have some really wonderful moments while you're working at it.

Long distance relationships are a bear.

With global communications, it is easier to at least communicate with your loved one. I would so mix the communication styles. Talking, text- messaging, video camera's, letters/ cards sent by post office, quick visits (it's easy to book flight out there) and voice messaging. If you don't mix the different styles, you may find that you got familiar with only communication style and this will make the relationship strain when you're finally together.

communicate with one another 24-7 by texting, email or phone. Make it work if you love this person. Move to see them. If you are meant to be, you will! Communication is the big one when it comes to long distance though, cause jealousy can detroy your relationship, be open and honest with one another, and everything will be fine!
