Should I buy a 512 MB or 1 GB card. I want to get as much memory as possible with out slowing perfrormance.

I would recommend the 1GB Card at this time. They are cheap -- I use this card in my HP iPAQ myself, and it does not slow down the performance as far as I can see. Plus, the same 1GB card can be used in other devices I own (an added bonus).

A 256 is plenty but it depends on what you are using it for for just file storage that is all you need but for pictures and music video etc. you might want to get a 1gig
