I have had no luck with realtors of any kind. All they want to do is sell you a house you cant afford.

At the same time, it's possible that your Realtors have thought that you have wasted their time.
Be sure to communicate what you want exactly to them. The more you tell them what's on your mind, the more they can help you. If you are looking for dirt cheap, you probably need to communicate that more effectively.
A good Realtor would try to resolve the communication problem with you. However, you should probably do your part as well.

First talk to a mortgage loan officer and find out what you qualify for in terms of financing the property. This will help narrow your search and avoid wasting time. It is an easy process and most realtors wont talk to you until you have it done.
