I've been using the evening primrose oil capsules vaginally before going to bed, and when I get up to pee during the night, my pj's feel wet. It isn't pee. My husband says it's the oil expansion from the pills that is leaking out of me. Is that true, or is my water leaking bit by bit?

If it only happens after using the primrose...then I agree with your husband. I did the same thing when I would use them. If your underwear doesn't get wet throughout the day then you aren't leaking water.

The oil will leak out of you when you get up to pee. I highly recommend using a panty liner because that stuff is hard to wash out.

It is also VERY normal to have increased vaginal discharge during the last few weeks of pregnancy. If your water breaks, you will usually feel a "pop" and there will be a very noticeable gush.

Most of the time the water does not break until active labor has already begun. If it does break, labor will usually start within 24 hours afterwards.

i actual understand your frustration. i, such as you, have tried all the techniques which you defined (castor oil saved me from pooping so as that i've got been given somewhat constipated and did no longer have a bowel circulation for like 3 days, it became terrible, besides... tmi...) i'm 40-one wks devoid of dilation or effacement, so i needless to say have not found out to stimulate commencing of the cervix. my record instructed me that there is somewhat no longer something to do to get it began, it particularly is basically once you have made some progression that walking and intercourse and what no longer artwork (such as you suggested, intercourse is rather lots no longer possible.) i'm guessing which you're at like -a million station, like i'm. the ingredient is nevertheless, that the toddler's head must be at the back of the cervix, using fact it somewhat is closed, so i'm no longer information how the midwife suggested that the top is physically powerful there whilst the cervix is lots back? i think of in keeping with risk there became some miscommunication there. in keeping with risk she became asserting that the toddler's head is pressed up against the cervix, yet that the cervix continues to be a techniques back. if it somewhat is the case, then this stress will help the cervix to open.

it's the oil, if your water was leaking you'd definitally know it-this would mean your cervix has been damaged and will end up in pre-term labor.
