Okay, it's obvious you are anti-liberal.

Yes, you should do that. Be sure to lower all the standards too, so they can sit on their *** and do nothing all the way through their free public school and still expect to get higher pay. And also, absolutely no accountability, they should never have to actually do any work.

Why do you sell minorities short? If they experience any hardships, they end up coming through blessed and smarter and they can outperform anyone who has not been tried so harshly. Why are you trying to convince minorities that they need some kind of crutch or handout? They aren't beggars, they are smart hardworking people and they'll outperform your lame performance any day of the week.

Heck no. I actually think that is the opposite of fair. People don't get paid less because they are a minority anyway. I am a minority and a hard working one. I expect to get paid a salary that is normal for my job type and the amount of work I do. For me to get paid double would be ridiculous. People need to work hard to advance in their career there should be no free handouts at the expense of others. Equal pay for equal work.

Fair is to not judge someone on color, yet your statement says pay should be based on on color and not aptitude or competence. No one is stopping you from giving part of your paycheck to anyone you choose. Have at it with my blessing.

But once you start paying someone for doing less in the work force, the hard working coworkers get pretty peeved. People need to be able to work and get decent pay. This isn't France. Employers didn't take you to raise. They have a responsibility to the workforce to make sure they remain competitive so their jobs don't disappear.

"Fair" to a racist doesn't mean the same thing as equality, does it? What would have been fair in the nineteenth century would be for the Indian Nations to annihilate any white settler that crossed the Mississippi River into their hunting grounds. (violating a valid treaty)

Minorities aren't asking for a handout. What they expect is a fair shake when it comes to job opportunities, job advancement, and equality in the workplace.

Are you kidding?
I don't think there is a racial divide, but more of a CLASS divide. This needs to stop being separated by race because many people of color are simply not disadvantaged any more!
Financial aid should be need based and wages should NEVER be related to color!

thats not at all fair. and how could you start paying them double, and then all of the sudden say they've reached your economic status and then start paying them less again?

Hmmm that's funny.......I make less than my African American counterpart here in the office. How about we pay me more until I catch up with her.

How would that be fair?

I'm asian, and I see no reason why some ethnicities should get paid more than others. I sincerely don't get your point.
