depends on what you are asking. the general definition would be valuable products or services that are bestowed on an individual as a byproduct of their membership or contractual relationship with a certain program or other entity/institution. so benefits at work could mean insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, vacation time......

As far as employment/employee benefits this would mean anything over and above their regular salary/hourly pay.

Insurance, bonuses, incentives, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, retirerment/investment opportunities....as well as intangible items such as "casual days," "birthday parties," "team building exercises," etc.
