well if that happens maybe your using the wrong lip stick. I would put on Burt's bee's chap stick first, this stuff works really good, then put your lipstick on. It should help!

First off, I have to assume that your lips probably peel and flake under the lipstick as well, right? You need to get rid of any lipstick that doesnt mention moisture. If you cant wipe it off easily, dont buy it. Unless you need long wear lipstick, it works fine. Just reapply. Before you put on your lipstick, wet a wash cloth or your toothbrush and rub your lips gently but firmly to loosen the extra skin. If that doesnt get it all apply a lip gloss (neutrogena works great for this) and let it sit for about 15-30 minutes, then wipe off with a warm washcloth. Then apply your moisturizing lipstick. My favorite, for the same problem is Cliniques Buttershine in Delovely. It looks great on everyone and is between a lip gloss and a lipstick. Not dry, not gooey. Just right. Its 14 dollars at any belk or dillards. Its worth it. Good luck!

You need to quit using lipsticks with mineral oils in them. Mineral oils are derived from the same place as motor oil. That stuff plasticizes on your skin an creates a barrier that prevents nutrient absorbtion and toxin elimination. When I started using Arbonne lip gloss, it felt a little wierd, but as I got used to it, my lips started to feel a lot healthier. Now if I use other glosses or lipsticks, I really do notice my lips getting dried out and feeling much less healthy. Watch your ingredients lists, any kind of petrolatum is mineral oil too, it actually goes by many different names, is why it is a good idea to go with a product line you can trust. Something else to look out for in lipstick, tallow... you don't even want to know about that one! To make it easy, just use products like Arbonne

You need to exfoliate & moisturize your lips, first of all. You can use a clean, damp washcloth to scrub your lips. Not your toothbrush, yuck! Or you can use my recipe and mix a pinch of brown sugar with a little bit of honey until it makes a grainy paste, then scrub your lips with it & lick it off. It works very well, the sugar scrubs off the dry skin and honey is a good moisturizer. I do this at night and then wear some good lip balm to bed. I like C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Lip Balm or just plain old Vaseline. Mine got chapped pretty badly after being in a fire this year and using this, they were back in shape in less than a week.
Use a good stick balm (nothing wet or shiny) and let it sit 5 minutes, then wipe it off, then use a lipliner that matches your lips to line and fill them in. Try Clinique's Butter Shine lipstick, it has a nice, smooth, glossy texture and doesn't feel dry at all.

Try a lipstick with some moisturizer in it. MAC has some good ones and a large variet of colors. Also drink plenty of water. I used to have the same problem and thought it was the lipstick but once I increased my water intake no more dry lips.

Always use a chapstick under your lipstick (just dab it lightly otherwise your lipstick won't last). Also Avon's Beyond Color lipconditioner w/ spf, works wonderful too. Check out ones that have shea butter, I know that Bare Escentuals use that in their lipsticks. Also Joan Rivers has some really creamy lipsticks. But I still recommend put chapstick or lipconditioner under them.

any name-brand lipsticks that mention moisture should be fine. You could also just top off your current lipstick with a chapstick like I love Avon's care deeply. Or a lip gloss.

No. They do not feel the sense like we humans do. This is because we have a central nervous system running through our vertebra (backbone) which sends messages to our brain. This means that if if our leg is hurt, we feel the pain at the top brain. On the other hand, the insects are non-vertebra and they do not have central nervous system. Thus if an ant's leg is crushed, only the leg will feel local pain. Moreover, their pain magnitude is short, since they produce large number of off springs and their life is short. They can also reproduce their lost organs. It has been observed that if you cut a cockroach's head, it will die after a month due to starving. Scientists have cut a lobster's leg and feed him, which he ate. It is also true that except for human beings no other animal is aware of its existence.

Use satin lips a couple of times a week to keep lips soft and smooth. Then....
Use a lip primer before you put lipstick on. It will prevent chap lips from happening again.
