Anyone else think that rose haired tarantula's are the coolest things?!?

Question

I am TERRIFIED of spiders, except for rose haired tarantulas. They're black, but under direct light/sun light, they look pink. They are so laid back and gentle.

(I just don't like it if they come near me to quickly hehhe)

Tarantulas are still scary, but the little ones are worse because they're sneaky. A tarantuala can't be sneaky, they're too big.

Lol, yeah I like them too. I had one a few years ago actually, same kind you described too. I always took it out and held it for awhile too sometimes. Oh and one of the coolest things about them is when they molt... Take the molten exoskeleton and place it where you know someone will be sitting or just anywhere you know they'll see it, then sit back and watch the action. hehe It was cool to watch it eat and make a bit of a web too.

It's not really a good idea to hold them that often though because their abdomens can break easily. A friend of mine that works at the pet shop and is really into tarantulas said that if you do happen to break the abdomen, you can use superglue to bond it back together. Lucky for me I've never had to try that yet though. lol

LOL I had one when I was a kid, yep, they're cool!

And I know what you mean, I'm nervous of little spiders, but the big fat ones are almost cuddly! =)

??wtf?? how can you be scared up spiders, but not scared of a f&*%ing tarantula, no matter what color it is. im not scared of spiders, but im still afraid of tarantulas, pink black brown turquiose, i dont care about the color!
