Some friends advised that daily application of lipstick causes black discoloration of the lips,Any experiences with that?
How to prevent that without stopping the use of lipsticks?

Good brands are Vincent Longo, Sephora, Bourjois and Laura Mercier(all these brands and more can be found at your local SEPHORA). A great tip is to apply a conditioning lip balm before applying the lipstick. Also, when washing your face, or brushing your teeth, exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush, it really works! It removes the dead skin cells and revives your lips! Good Luck!

What kind of lipstick do your friends wear?? No, it doesn't cause discoloration of the lips, that's an urban legend even I've never heard. Don't worry about it.

MAC is one of the best brands for lipsticks, Clinique has some good ones too. I would say that Revlon's are probably some of the better department store lipsticks.

I personally have NEVER heard of that before. That would either be freckles or a disease. I research make-up constantly and have never even heard a hint of that. But, just onto the good lipsticks. My favorite, without completely going bankrupt is Cliniques Buttershine in Delovely. You can get it at any Belk or Dillards for about $14. Estee Lauder and Sephora carry very nice lipsticks and glosses also. Remember that old saying: Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you read? It still applies.

lipstick does not discolor your lips.... if you friends got black spots on their lips its probably just them... to bring more color to your lips you can use lip injection by too faced... it brings the blood to your lips
