Desperately seeking a quiet refrigerator!!!?

It seems that all the new fridges have smaller compressor motors that run faster and make a very annoying high-pitched sound.

Does anybody know of a brand and/or model of fridge that uses a larger, slower turning compressor motor like they used to use?

Try searching www.kelkoo.co.uk or .com They have the option to search by energy rating, size etc and noise! You can choose a limit to the decibels and it will show everything under that number. Hope this helps!
