Granted, Im a huge Elton fan but I dont think it gets better then Blessed.
I love how it captures that a parent will provide the best for their child - guidance, opportunity, support, love - and captures how we can unconditionally love our children. He also speaks of how " I need you before I'm too old, To have and to hold, To walk with you and watch you grow" which tells how rewarding providing for our children is.
In addition, the music is so beautiful, almost like an amazing lullaby.

I dedicated "If I Could" to my kids. I don't remember the name of the female artist who sang it. But Celine Dion redid it and you can see the lyrics on her page. It's such a beautifully heartfelt song from a mother, it always has me in tears by the end.
