Depending on your age, get a blood test and get your thyroid checked. Hair loss is a very common symptom.
It could also be alopecia.

Hi hair loss can be because of numerous reasons, people say diet or stress can cause hair loss, everyone experiances hairloss, but when its falling out on to your pillow then something is wrong. I would go and get it checked out at the doctors. It also depend on your age etc, Also i know a guy once lost his hair because he quite smoking, but all his hair is back now. Go see a doctor he will run some tests.

I had the same problem and I thought it was due to a lot of weight loss. The pharmacist said its STRESS. Once you eliminate the cause of stress you will see the difference. I did and it worked!
Beware, though....like all animals we lose more hair than usual towards autumn and spring. You have to be the judge of that.

It could be related to stress or could be a hormonal issue. I am 40-ish and had a similar problem. Best to get it checked out by your G.P.
Take care

idk what this is but it used to happen to me, if you put tour hair up never use rubber bands or small, thin hair ties.. use scrunchies or think hair ties without the metal thing in the middle of them. also dont brush your hair to hard, dont sleep with your hair up and dont take a shower with your hair up. also at any store that sells shampoo you should be able to find some that says scalp strengthener or hair strengthener somthing like that, it should help.

You maybe have Alopetia? I'm not sure how to spell it but it's a condition where your hair falls out. You should maybe ask your doctor.

it could very well be stress, or your body is missing some kind of vitamin. also, it could be your thyroid. if you are having weight gain and hot flashes along with the hair lose, i would go see your doc and have them check your thyroid.
