I know LisaB...Christmas has been kidnapped by market forces. It is no longer a time of giving and sharing, or peace and reflection ... being thankful for all the good things that happened. Now market forces encourage us to buy, buy, buy, even to outbuy our neighbors, family and friends.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS.. THE LIGHTS, THE SONGS, GIVING GIFTS, ITS ALL ABOUT BEING GOOD AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR TO REMEMBER GOD.. I LOVE THE SPIRIT OF IT...

Seeing my 2 grandbabies open presents,going to see Santa,decorating my home for the children,it is just all about my son,his wife,my babies being happy first with presents,then off to see my mom,my dad,we just give one or 2 big gifts,when I was little Christmas was meant for kids and still is!Everyone enjoys a nice present,even me from my mom and dad,but,the top of the list is my grandchildren and many pictures at Christmas!I remember Jesus everyday!But,at Christmas I teach my little ones about "The Manger" and read stories!It is a happy time of year for me!

Christmas is nothing but a stressful time, with pressure to spend money families cant afford, causing all kinds of issues. Although, it is great all the religious issues..but seriously.. I doubt anyone could say that they enjoy the stress or don't really feel the stress.

Christmas for me is a time of beautiful wintery nights,bright christmas lights,family&friends,foodetc. but let's not forget the true meaning. keep Christ in Christmas.love your god then your neighbor as yourself,and remember...it's better to give than receive.

For me Christmas is a child's holiday. It has no spiritual meaning for me. Its a money breaking holiday and I could care less if it comes or not.

I love christmas. it is my favourite time of year. research has shown that jesus was not really born in december but whatever it is traditional and its a time to give and receive love .

It's all commercial nowadays. That's all it's about for me giving and getting gifts, maxing out my credit cards...ahhh it's a magical time of year.
