There's usually an extra charge for moving furniture. This may have been quoted in the orginal price. I assume it is,
unless you discussed it.

Please, move knick knacks. They're always subject to damage and slow up the work. They will move over sized furniture and restore if they are too heavy for you.
Empty any free standing cabinets if they are overly heavy. Remove any lamps or breakables. Empty any china cabinets.
As far as sweeping, cleaning floors, it will have to be done when they remove any existing material, They will do that.
Pictures on the wall can remain.
They can be a problem with some "carpet" installations.

Any drapes to floor should be tied up. They are not as careful as you will be.

Always ask them on arrival if anything else is needed, and be sure to get their maintenance advice upon completion.

Electronics, Computers, large TVs, should have been discussed. I never wanted my installers to touch those. Usually bad experiences.

I would try to sweep any loose items up. Most installers are expecting a home that someone is living in to have to move their furniture. Unless you worked out a deal with the seller to move those things yourself to save a little money. If there is a china cabinet or something that is precious to you, I suggest you move it, as you will be the most careful with it. Anything you can do ahead will only make your job go quicker. The one thing I know from experience is that floor people will come in and not sweep as thoroughly as you would before beginning to install a new floor. So definitely sweep. good luck everything. You will so enjoy that new floor.

The installers should clean the floor, before they start. Most of them expect you to move the furniture, but that is usually negotiable.

If they are staining the floors you might need to cover up or remove your baseboards and trim
