Limewire (like Kaazar) IS Illegal (if Ur paying 4 it...U r being "had"!). If U do decide to use such programs, go with "Bit-torrents". Like it has already been stated, "Bit-torrents" contains little or no viruses while downloading with"Limewire" will bring tons of viruses with the downloads.

to all the people that said limewire is illegal it isn't because u still have to pay for it and i have an apple and it works on my computer fine

not if you have an apple... otherwise you will screw your computer because of viruses...
use a bit torrent... not only is it safer but it also downloads everything in pieces from thousands of computers, and if one of the pieces in infected then it wont be able to create the original file... thus you cant get a virus.

It's great! Yes it's safe. You can download music, videos and burn cd's. I'm using it right now.

i use it all the time and it has never affected my computer ,i use it to download music,movies,and pretty much anything else i need,the best part is it is free
