Talking to Landlord is great however if your BF does not want to absorb entire rent you maybe screwed! Most Landlords have dealt with issues like this before but your relationship is NOT his concern the rent is! Maybe the solution would be to stay until you can find another roomate for your BF (ex I hope) You signed a contract and Landlord can hold you to it. If your BF cannot or will not pay full rent you could have problems

I went through the same thing. What you need to do is go talk to the landlord and explain everything that is going on. If your ex is planning to stay there then your landlord should let you off the lease. Just go talk to the landlord and try to work something out

Talk to your landlord and explain the situation. If he's a good guy he might let you off the lease. I had to leave an apartment when a guy I was seeing became abusive. Most of the time the landlord would rather you leave than stay and cause problems or disturbances to other tenants.

You are responsible for half the rent until the lease is up OR you have to find someone to finish up your lease. If you just move out your ex can take you to court for the remainer of what you owe on the lease....and he will win.

Just leave. That will stick the cheater with the cost of the rest of the lease. Tell the landlord what happened so he will know who to ask when the next rent check is due.

Start by talking to who ever the lease is with and find out if there is a solution that is viable from their end. Ultimately they are the ones who hold you under contract and they are the only ones who can choose to change the contract.

Give your 30 day notice to the landlord. I wouldn't tell Mr Wonderful about it though. He cheated and deserves what he gets. I would move when he is at work and let his homecoming be a little suprise.
