Okay, I understand if he's blowing hot air out of his car, but if he does this regualarly, then he's seriously crazy because wind comes to you when windows are down (and driving) , and circulation while having windows up also blows air. What a waste!!!!

My ex used to do that. He would crack the windows when the air was on.

I thought it was weird. But it seemed like it was pretty effective in circulating the cool air all over the car.

it is going to sluggish you down, the wind entering you motor vehicle will fairly pull the vehicle decrease back. once you roll down your domicile windows theres much less aerodynamics so which you would be going fairly slower, yet its no longer very great. p.s having AC on doesnt keep you gasoline, it even says that for the time of any motor vehicle handbook

I wish I had the money that he was wasting doing that, with the price of gas today. It does not help with the efficiency of the car, but I don't think it will do anything bad, except waste gas and money.

I think that wastes a lot of fuel. The car uses more gas when the AC is on. His business though, I guess.

They're crazy. Independantly, using a/c or rolling down windows has drawbacks. Why couple them?

Your friends fuel economy is literally going "out the window."

He's payin' for the gas, what do you care?

I do that, and also drive with the window open in the winter with the heater on full blast.

I think that he just wants fresh and cold air at the same time. But scientifically it uses more petrol and creates drag.
