This 19 yr. old is pregnant and she thought she was 14 wks when she first went in for an ultrasound. The tec. told her she was more like 17 wks, and then she had another one they said more like 18 wks, then the last one they said she was a wk less then they first thought. They said that they were watching her for a thick plasenta but thought that because she is so thin that it just looks thicker. So could that be the case for the age of the baby as well?

everyone carries differently. My BF is a size 2 and she looked 4 months pregant when she was full term - so she looked much less along than she really was.

it truly is strange i recognize. My first 2 you will possibly desire to no longer tell i grew to become into pregnant till i grew to become into approximately 7 or 8 months alongside, and then i ultimately began to get a abdomen. This one on the different hand has been thoroughly diverse. i'm wearing him all out in front. i'm at 22wks and you will tell i'm pregnant, yet i've got basically gained 12 kilos. i grew to become into truly youthful once I had my first 2, and now i'm 28, so i do no longer recognize if age performs any style of element. it truly is probable a genetic subject besides. yet as long because of the fact the toddler comes out wide-spread and healthy, i'm no longer gonna concern approximately it. till needless to say i won't be in a position to get the toddler weight to come back off, then i'm gonna be ticked. ;)

I looked like I was full term at 6 months....my friends thought I was having twins. I started out at as a size 1, then my belly just popped out. now my son is 3 months and I am down to a size 3 already. It just depends on how you carry....all around or all up front.

If she looks that strange, she probably is too thin, and a Dr. should not guess a due date, he should do an ultra sound. The baby could be very large, you never know, could be a multiple birth!

Yes she can... Some women who carry more weight dont look pregnant as soon because their weight covers it. My sister is SO thin... and when she was 2 months along... You could tell because she had a bulge where her bones were before.
