I read in a board somewhere that said you could do this after you purchase the abandoned air strip, but i tried with no success. Does anyone know if this is really possible and how do u do it?

Yeah it is possible. But first u have to complete the air missions of the helicopter. When I did it was saved. But i dont know correctly cauz i played this game long ago.

not only can you save them there but you can also kinda glitch and save them in some of the normal garages and gas stations around the map. i once got a helicopter, a fire truck, a tank and a cop car in a garage, no lie.

try the big hanger across from where you save at the abandoned air strip

try a small helicopter like the sea sparrow, and land right in front of the huge angar, Wait for it to open fully, and gently press accelerate, so you are slightly hovering. press forward slightly so you tip forward slightly, and press accelerate very slgihtly until you're in the garage

yes you can, it has to be the big garage, but, you will not be able to get them back out.
