Yes. You need to know the make and model of your laptop. Replacement screens are available for most. I take it that since you paid $1200 for it, it was new?
You should start with the shop you bought it from, perhaps, though you should be able to source it online cheaper than they will offer it. However, you would be wise to have it fitted by a qualified repair person. Also, if you buy online, make sure it is from a reputable company. I would be wary of Ebay, perhaps.
There are a number of places online. Here is one as an example:

Use Google to research (I am in the UK, so most of the sites I get are UK sites.)

I think your S.O.L, to repair screens is almost not worth it, you will spend more on repairing the screen that the unit is worth. LCD screens are not a common item, even on eBay. The know how to replace the screen is more that even the standard computer tech.
I would try the warranty route, the worse they can say is no, and give you an estimate on how much to fix.
your best bet is to turn it into a desktop and purchase a new monitior.
But it does not cost anything to look arond and call shops in your area.

I don't know of screen dealers but I would check with your local computer store for a replacement or repair. Also your manufacturer such as dell should be able to sell you one. You may have warranty coverage too.

Yep, but they can be expensive, just do an Internet search for replacement LCD screens, costs will vary $150 -$500 (see for example http://lcds4less.com/). You did not mention brand and size. Other options include finding a dead laptop (which died for other reasons) with a compatible screen and scavenging it, searching eBay, or just buy an inexpensive LCD monitor and run the laptop with an external monitor, Good luck

Unless you have an accident replacement plan. Drops aren't covered under warranty. Otherwise, you can most likely send it back to the manufacturer and, for a price, pay to have them replace the screen.

Check ebay I have seen a few sold before. You will need an exact part to fit.
You can probably also buy the screen direct from the manufacturer for a little more.

Your telephone has extreme water harm. it is going to clutter each thing internally up.. My suggestion is once you've coverage on the phone declare it. If not then good success with replacing it cost effectively.

yep - once you get the part number from the manufacturer, just google it for the best price - and use your judgement on where to buy.
I just had one where VERY hot coffee was spilled on the screen - fortunately, the emplpyer's tech support replaced it - thats how i know they are sold
good luck.
