Be sure you are not rubbing in their faces that you have money, nice care, mobile. Be a friend and see if they want to do something fun with you. Be sure it is something you will both enjoy. Ask them if their is some reason they are acting funny. Maybe their was some miscommunication between you all. Remember starting college is very hectic and confusing time. They may just be dealing with all the confusion and when that wears out they will be ready to talk to you. Invite others to make a study group or join in another study group. College is a great place to make new friends. But it can be a very competitive place with people fighting to obtain on to good grades. This can be especially true of people on scholarships or financial aid. If you can't find a study group, the college should provide counselling programs that might help you meet helpful people and programs...like TRIO.

Maybe, they don't include you in the study group because you sound illiterate. I would not include you in my study group because you do not even have a basic grasp of the English language. So, how can you honestly contribute in a meaningful way. Also, you come across as very immature and very shallow, which would also have a negative affect on any meaningful relationships. Your friends are sending you a message, read between the lines.

Because it's all about the competition. You should get some real help and ditch them. It's not worth your entire life and career to have friends like them. Go ask your professor for questions, a TA, or go to some type of study center where you can ask questions, for example, a "math lab" not really called that but you can ask graduate/ undergraduate students for help. Focus on school, your friends are obviously not worth your time. You can be nice to them but don't count of them for now on. It's up to you to be successful... and don't help them out.. remember who you are doing this for.. .YOU!!!!!

Sounds like you need to find new people to hang out and study with. While you're at it, try studying spelling.

Stop calling them friends because they are not. Get rid of them and concentrate on your studies.

maybe it is because you have a hard time with english.
if they cannot understand you, then it is hard for them to study with you.
talk to your advisor at college and get help with speaking and writing English.
