Tax credits are there to help people move forward into employment and stop sponging from the state. Cheating the system isn't an option because when you get found out you not only can end up with a criminal record but if you ever do lose your job it is harder to get back into the system children in tow or not.

tax credits helps cos goverment wants people to work what i think is the money you get from credits only goes back in the goverment ie council rent in some way we not gaining. A family of 4 our selfs we manage without cheating but not better off.

If you are still unemployed yourself, it is worth going to see a single parent advisor at your local job centre and having a chat. You still may be entitled to other benefits.
I am a single mother of three children aged 5,7 and 10 and would love to go back to work but it is impossible in the area I live in. 75% of childcare costs would be covered but with three children I could not earn enough.
Nobody in their right mind tries to live on benefits, but the system is so badly set up that I would be penalised for working. It is an awful situation to be in.

in case you opt to chat approximately paper wastage attempt living in Wales. each little thing is despatched out billingually meaning double - a 4 sheet letter comes out as 8 sheets as you will possibly desire to have a Welsh and an English version of each little thing. It pisses me off. No i do no longer talk Welsh (different than the little bit I did at college) neither does every person i recognize and we will not for the existence of me see the evaluate a number of those better sheets of paper - it basically creates extra rubbish and wastage. yet howdy i'm specific the Welsh nationalists will come down on me for asserting this! no longer that I provide a stuff. i'm as Welsh as they as. those human beings basically have too plenty time on their palms and spend extra time whining concerning to the Welsh language than attempting to deal with the poverty and misery some Welsh human beings might desire to stay in.
