Very often yes, Personally i use it and only have periods every 3/4 months, which is great!

Normally the doc would put you on the normal pill if thats what you're worryed about but depending on your med history they might choise the mini pill.

It's about the same as when you're on the combined pill. Ensure that you take them on time, because there's only one hormone and if you delay, it could lead to an unwanted pregnancy. If you're heavier than the average woman (9 stone) the Doc often says to take two tablets per day.

I`ve been on it for 5 years and it has caused my periods to stop which was a bit freaky at first but I think its great now!

it is due to the hormone difference that changes when you take the pill ,so your periods become less,sometimes after a while they can become only very vey sgort periods.
