No,
Actually, The Stand is my most favorite book and movie. I loved the Dark Tower series, but it did not have the impact on me that The Stand did.

I believe I have read just about everything Stephen King has ever written so I would have to say No, it isn't his crowning masterpiece. Too long between books so I forgot details of what happened before. Also, the great parts were too few and the boring parts too many. But I absolutely still love Stephen King anyway.

The first book was one of the finest books I ever read. However I was disappointed with the 7th and last book. The fact that a major enemy was destroyed by erasing him I thought was weak. Also, I thought the ending was telegraphed too much with the constant reference to ka being a wheel.

No. I think the first 3 or 4 books were excellent, but by the end it seemed (to me anyway) that he was in too much of a rush to finish it in the manner which he started.

'The Stand' is definitely his best book.

yes. i have read it. The story itself was so good and you also fall in deep imagination of the story. First i ever felt this way but when i read it, it is the bomb. You feel like you in the story. Cool and consider as masterpiece.

The Stand.

Best book in all of history. I've read a dozen copies of the paperback into tatters.

Not even in the ball park - The Green Mile is probably his best, and definitely his best since he learned how to tell a story again.
