Me and my sister got or daughters tattooed with their full names on their bottoms. I saw it in a movie and we both thought it was a good idea in case they were abducted. My husband just found out and is very angry. I still think it was a good choice

Where on earth did you find someone to tatto your children. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!

We had a Bear once, we kept him in the back yard. One of the neighbors got scared one day because it turned and started to come towards it's Unicorn. So afraid He would never see His beloved Unicorn fly ever again, the Neighbor took out a large silver shiny type gamma ray gun and shot Our Bear. It lay still on the ground. We were so sad. But wait, geewillager Batman, the Bear still had a pulse, Our Bear was still alive. The bad news, or worse news was that the Bearamedics informed us, that sadly, He would require, a very rarely ever performed head transplant. So We contacted the local zoo, and the only animal that had recently passed was a Zebra. After much deliberation They agreed to let us have the head for the transplant. They performed the surgery in prison, I think Your make believe Husband was there. He sad to tell the twins hello, and He will take care of that tattoo thing later. Now the Zebear is back home, and has had a full recovery. It is the tallest animal in the World, and it is documented as such.

I don't blame your husband. How could you do something like that to your child without getting his input first.

Secondly, the chances your child will be abducted are slim.

Now your child is permanently marked for life. And she has no say in it. If I were tatooed as a child, I'd be very upset as an adult to be "marked".

Before doing something so drastic (and possibly illegal, and painful for your child), you should have looked into other child ID programs. There are many out there, such as this one : http://www.yoursafechild.com/

Do a simple search for Child ID kit, and you'll find many other options you could have used.

I would be angry if I was your husband too.

Ok first of just like to square the HIV or Hepatitis from getting tattoos. The only way to get infected by those is going to a place that do not have safe and and clean equipment. Another Putting a chip in any human to track or Identify them is just plain wrong. I do not agree on tattooing you child either. If you can not id you child you not love your child very much. I know I'd be able to spot mine in a heart beat or even know they was near. God mothers have the instinct to be able to tell who their child is. That's my 2 cents

you did not think to ask/discuss this with the dad. by doing that you told him he is not a parent but a paycheck. any you have violated your child's future right decide if they want to be tattooed, some religions will not let you in with tattoos. What were you thinking. I hope you don't do everything you see in a movie, but if you do, may i recommend Thelma and Louise, for you and your sister.

Unless you are joking, I've got to side with your husband. I would never forgive my parents if they had done that to me. Next time you think you have a good idea, I'd suggest you get a second opinion from someone other than your sister.

I have to agree with your husband. I would be angry with my spouse if he did that to our kids. What's to stop someone if they are intent on taking your kids from distorting the tattoo to make it another name? There is no "sure fire" way to keep your kids safe besides due diligence and attention to where they are at all times. THAT will keep your kids safer than having their bottoms tattooed!

That was the worst thing you ever could have done!! You just might have given your baby HIV or Hepatitis anything nasty like that. What were you thinking!!!! I dont think you made a very good parental choice!!!

I just think that was terrible. You should not even have a child if you are going to make poor choices LIKE THAT!!

YOU are an IDIOT! AND your sister too!
That was not your daughter's choice.
YOUR husband has every right to be PISSED OFF and I hope he prosecutes you!
I see that they tag dogs also with an under the skin tag, why not do that?
SARCASTIC!
HELLO that is why you photograph your kids regularly and home movies and FINGER PRINTS!
IF you see a movie where they throw kids off a building, I feel sorry for your daughters!
MORONS!

Second question: How old is your child?
Third question: What movie did you see it on?
