because he is an ******** and the people of New Orleans deserved what they got if they are dumb enough to reelect him.

I don’t think he meant any disrespect both 9/11 and Katrina were tragedies, one Natural, one man made. But tragedies all the same and when a major tragedy happens it takes time even years to recover from it. He is right the hole is still there even after nearly 5 years. The Katrina tragedy only happened a year ago and was more widespread then 9/11 it only make sense that they would still be getting back on their feet. I doubt New Orleans will be the same again for many years its going to take a long time to get back to what it was before the hurricane hit.

I don't think that was the case at all. What he said was if the hole in N.Y. is still a hole after 6 years, what do you expect from New Orleans?I think that was and is a plug to the President and others who say they are sending money, but it's not getting to Mr nagin. He can say whatever he sees as a truth. he is the mayor and when things are not being done he is the person who is blamed. not bush.

He didn't disrespect anyone... He merely compared the aftermath of two disasters... He made a valid point that the hole in ground in New York is still there... and it is... There is no comparison between 9/11 and Katrina when it comes to damage... The Trade Centers were on a 13 acre site... Katrina's damage runs from Louisiana to Alabama...

Are you referring to the comment about the "hole in the ground"?
I'll say this for Nagin, the fact that he is an imbecile has nothing to do with his ethnicity - inept politicians come in all sizes, shapes and colors.

Ignorance...I know I am not the only person that was taught to think before I speak but I do think he was neglected as a child. He has proved throughout the last year and the way he handled the Katrina and Rita situations that he is plum full of it...ignorance that is!

I don't think he meant any disrespect to New York. I think he RIGHTLY wondered why he was being judged for not rebuilding a WHOLE CITY in one year while no one questions why ground zero (a relatively small area) has not been touched in 5 years. Makes perfect sense to me.

He's a moronic politician. I believe he really means well, but he's just too damned stupid to be a public figure.
The tragedy in New Orleans wasn't just his fault, but he certainly didn't help matters.

You sound surprised? He's a buffoon. Maybe the chocolate city can visit the hole in the ground.
