Sometimes. A lot of times people are online because they are self-conscious of their looks. Sometimes they throw up a pic that's not of them just so that they can have guys talk to them. It's really a judgment call. If you're doubting whether or not the person is the person in the pic...ask them for more pics. Here's a website that has a list of pics that people use that aren't really them...

yes, especially when i see exceptionally ugly photos.. no one wans to steal an ugly photo
