Hey Mya,

I quit 13+ years ago. My appetite is insatiable to this day. I still want a cigarette too.

Take your money and reward yourself with something like a Bicycle. Or Karate lessons, or running shoes, or a health club membership. You can pay for that with your cigarette money!

When I quit, I put 20 pounds on almost immediately. I started riding a mountain bike (lots of resistance in fat tires), then had so much money, I bought the road bike of my dreams. Riding these got me in Athletic shape - better than ever in my life.

I can breath now - but I have to exercise, and watch what I eat.

When I exercise, I just put one foot in front of the other. Get dressed to ride. Fill up the tires, Get on the bike, ride. Time myself - at least 30 minutes (15 out, 15 back). This should help.

To get motivated you have to make sure that its something that YOU want. Make sure your doing this because you truely want it, not because you want to make a spouse happy,or think "everyone else is skinnier" Once you start getting into good habbits it will come natural like brushing your teeth, and wont have to worry about it too much.

I have recently lost 15 pounds. It took me a while to get started but once I got into good habbits it was easy.

Something you could do is eat smaller portions, work out EVERY OTHER day, and do smaller exersizes like going for a walk everyday. Also when you do eat, eat healthier foods like fruits, eat small snacks during the day so that you never allow your self to get to that "starving" point.

I used to always be eatting and eatting too big of meals, I noticed chewing gum often helps to keep your mouth busy so that your not constantly eatting.

You can do anything you set your mind to, also when you want to lose weight set a goal, set a goal of how much weight you want to lose and by a set date, dotn give up !! Good luck

put on a shirt you know is too small. Then dance by yourself in the living room. You'll be all like, "whats jiggling?" And then you'll want those pounds gone so bad you'll get right on with exercising. It sounds funny but it worked for me and a best friend.

It helps if you have a friend or partner who will exercise and change their eating habits with you. Ask your friends! And if not, just keep on trying, that is the best you can do! If you do the shopping, substitute bad things for healthy and good luck!

Here is a simple thing I did.

I went and bought sugar free mints and suckers.
I always had one in my mouth.

Believe it or not this really worked well for me.
I know it sounds too simple but give it a try.
