only to find out after belting your heart out, you were singing the wrong words? I was listening to queen of memphis but instead of saying memphis i was saying texas....I was tapped ever so politely AFTER the song was done by my daughter & told this. Now why is texas stuck in my head? hmmmmmm.

Sing to every song I know the words to. Never sing to the songs I don't know the words to unless I know a few lines then I only sing them. And of course I have to turn the radio up pretty loud because I can't hear the song when those teenagers has their thump, thump music beside me. Most teenages don't like it when I turn my radio up louder than theirs, but Country Rock is the best to listen to.
Not sure why you were thinking Texas, unless you wanted to hear the song "All my ex's live in Texas."
Sorry kids, if you can have your radio on so loud you can hear three blocks away, so can I.

That is a part of the human nature it would be wrong if we did not do it. When we are driving in our cars we seem to believe no one can really hear or see us. Thats why we sing off key and pick our nose at the red light

I sing all the time in the car. But let me tell you, when you have the top down on the Jeep, you get some pretty strange looks. That's okay, though, how can you not sing along to Frank Sinatra?

I do the same thing all of the time. Remember the song "if you don't know me by now....you will never never know me, ohhh ohhhh" Anyway, that's a pretty old song, which means, up until last year, I've spent the past fifteen plus years singing, "If you don't know me by nights.....". So don't feel so bad, it happens to the best of us.

in my opinion most of wat we think the artist-musician is saying they really and truely arent actually saying, most of the time they create words to fit in with their lyrics, most of the pop, and rap artists are guilty of this and so we hear this and create a word that we think it is just to sing along...its normaland healthy to do this...ive found that after a long day at work that singing to watever is on the radio no matter if i know it at all or not is honestly stress relieving...so wat if its not the right words who cares your not the musician your just be entertained
