Easy, if you have any clue about biology. You would know the egg is a cell. The Cell is ALWAYS created before the organism. duh.

Actually, the funny thing about the question is that it doesn't specify if it's the chicken's egg it's referring to. :) If you look at it from that point of view, then it's obviously the egg that came first, because many different species were reproducing from eggs before the chicken even came about.

Even so, all things considered, we all agree that chickens do (and almost certainly have to) come from eggs, and even the very first chicken of the world would certainly have come from an egg.

And thus, my conclusion, the egg came first, no matter what context the question is taken in.

Actually, the correct answer for this question is that.

Basing in the Bible historical, God commanded Noah to build an Arc and after that he commanded Noah to make room for all animals but unfortunately guys God didn't mentioned any eggs. So, it is very clear that Chicken first and not egg.

from evolution stand point it would be the Egg that was laid by a deevolved chicken, that produced the first modern chicken, which went on to lay more eggs.
