Long Beach, California and Portland, Oregon have a large lesbian communities. Teenagers, 20 somethings, Gen-Xers, and upwards. And to top it off, these places have a great cost of living. San Francisco may have all the coolest queers in the universe, but no single apartment is worth $1,400.

Lakewood Ohio is about the 2nd largest gay populated community in the country behind San Fransisco from what i have read. Lakewood is a beautiful city to live in because my brother lives there. also, Oberlin, Ohio; its a college town that has their fair share of gays and lesbians living there

You could try San Fransisco in CA or Atlanta in Georgia. I've heard they both are areas where there is a lesbian community feeling.

Basically anywhere that is not prodominently Southern Baptist. DEFINITELY NOT GA, AL, TN, & KY. My girlfriend is in Ky and I'm Ga and it really sucks. But like everyone else has already said. Cali, NYC, Ohio and well Key West, Fl. as well as Miami..... oh yeah and Texas. Anywhere that is not extra small....
