Eat at a resturant near a park or in a busy metropolitan area.
After eating take a walk in the park and even play on some of the equipment. Or walk around the busy metro area walk in and out of some of the shops
If you're of age walk to a bar and sit around talking and drinking (but take it easy on the beverages)

Go to the park, sit on the bench then read a poetry book together. After that, dinner a la carte.

Walk around town with ice cream and just talk, hang out, maybe go for dinner and a movie after?

my favorite date by far is Jillians (dave and busters equivilent) because you are around people but you are by yourself at the same time. you can have fun with teh arcaid stuf or go bowling or play pool or eat. there is so much to do. I had a blast going there.

Go for a hike. Then a good burger joint with milkshakes. Make sure the burger joint is old style with real ice cream milkshakes and good burgers. None of that McDonald's and BK crap.
