Age does matter. It depends on what the situation is. If a person is young and they are dating a older person, it depends on the younger person. It's how you present yourself to the other person. If you act young then age does matter. If you act mature and can handle responsibility, then age doesn't matter.
Like I said, I feel that it depends on the situation.

It depends on what you mean. If you mean is it OK for a 20 year old to be dating a 14 year old then yes age really matters, trust me there is something wrong with that. However if it where two people over the age of 18 there is really nothing for anyone to say because you are both consenting adults. I believe that any one under the age of 18 should not be dating any one over 2 years older than them. The reason I say this is when I was 14-16 I was dating men who were much older than me (up to 20 years older than me) and they really pushed me to do things that I was not ready to do.

I would agree that it depends on the age. If everyone is over 21 then no age does not matter. But to me 16 year old with a 38 year old is just wrong!

It depends. If you are over 21, no. If one of you is over 21 and the other isn't, then the law says yes, but it generally depends upon your attitude in that case and how big the age difference is (2 or 3 years, okay- more than that is very questionable). If there is too big of an age difference at any age unless one of you is extremely wealthy it could make a big difference later on

Yes, I think it does. Only because age brings you to different cross roads in your life, at which point you make important dicisions. Like, if you were 20 and dating a 35 year old. Maybe you would be at a point where fun is most important to you, while he would be ready to settle down and have a family. That would pose a problem. So yes. Age does matter... sometimes:)

if your 19 and there 16 yes.
if your 20 and there 30 yes.
if your 21 and there ??? who cares!
i am 43 and have dated ladies from 24(when i was 40!) to 36. by far the best time i have had and the most serious i have been with is a 26 yo. most of the older ladies, i said most, cannot keep up with my active lifestyle. i ride a bike 20-30 miles 2-3x's per week, i lift weights, i go to college, i have two grandkids under 4 yo, i have twin daughters 22 yo, i hike the rockies 2-3 x's per year, etc. and most women my age want to sit around the h ouse and go clubbing ALL the time. that's fine for a couple times a month, but i don't like inactivity, i will go to clubs to shoot pool, drink shiner's, play shuffle board, etc. i like to have poker games at my house, etc. so it's not all active, but again, most cannot keep up!

YES. If they are under 18 it is against the law. Anyone under 18 doesn't even know who they are yet, and needs to be left alone by older people, so they can be young, and find out for themselves who they are. Over 18, it doesn't matter.

Not to me it doesn't. I was so close to being in a great relationship with a guy that is 11 years older than me. But I blew it by letting him go for his own good. Because my parents would have been total haters about the whole situation, not to mention he was white too. Which again no prob by me. But being in school don't really need the tension like that.

As adults, it depends on the size of the gap... and what you're willing to accept. Do you want to be married for 50 years eventually? Do you want to retire together? Hard to do that with someone twice your age.

Age doesn't matter, IF you are both legal AND human...and for your sake, you should have common interests...to me, that about covers it. You can't help who you are attracted to~
